I must admit I wasn't expecting this. I came across this startling information while surfing one of my favorite blogs, Woman Honor Thyself. Being shocked at what I read, I did a google search and discovered that WHT was right. And just what is it that had me staring at my computer screen in disbelief? The Australian government is taking legal action in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Iran's Ahmadenijad for inciting hatred against Israel. You read that right.
Australia's new prime minister, Kevin Rudd, is taking Iran's president to court! Rudd is making good on a campaign promise he made to Australia's Jewish community. Rudd said if elected he would take Ahmadenijad to court in the ICJ for inciting hatred against Jews, calling for the destruction of Israel, and denying the Holocaust. What makes this shocking is that Rudd is a center-left PM, the head of the Australian Labor Party. Such unabashed opposition to Iran from a left-leaning politcian is almost unheard of. What we usually get from them is a witch's brew of anti-Zionist and anti-American justifications for Islamic terrorism and anti-Semitism. Rudd is a refreshing change of pace.
What will become of Australia's lawsuit against Ahmadenijad? Will the International Court of Justice actually do anything to Iran? Probably not. I suspect that body will prove to be as impotent and anti-Western as the UN. Still, I'm jubilant that a country besides the United States and a leader besides George W. Bush sees the mullahs' Iran for the evil entity that it is. Chalk up one for Kevin Rudd! Chalk up one for the Aussies! Now if only the rest of Hesperia will get it.

Personally i think he's just doing it for the media spotlight. Our new PM has been in office only for a few months and from what i've seen, he's strong on rhetoric and grand standing, but not much else. His most recent fantasy is some sort of Asia-Pacific Union, a bit like the EU, took him a couple of hours to come up with it and announce it, otherwise known as half-baked policy on the run. The pundits are already lining up to tear it to pieces.

Rudd is a zionist puppet doing what his jewish controllers demand. The interests of white Australians come far down his to-do list. Iran has been demonised by Israel and jew-controlled America because it stands in the way of total Israeli control of the Middle East. Why does no one demand that Israel be taken to task for its agression and its possession of hundreds of nuclear weapons? Why the double standard all the time?
