Happy New Year to all the Hammer Folk!

It's been a long time since I posted on this blog. A whole year, in fact. I've felt much guilt over neglecting this site but it's not just Hammer Folk Woman that I've ignored. I haven't kept up with any of my blogs like I used to. Having cancer in 2010 is the reason. That was a physically, mentally, and emtionally trying time which I spent 2010 and 2011 recovering from. One of the lingering effects of my cancer treatment is "chemo brain", that mental condition where thinking and expressing thoughts is more difficult than before chemo. It's just harder for me to write now. The words won't come like they used to. Still, I'm going to try to post more regularly on Hammer Folk Woman in 2012. The issues that inspired the creation of this blog are still extant and need to be dealt with. I will try hard to do that and I hope I won't disappoint you.

Thank you, Lord, for letting me see another year.

A Deadly Beginning To The New Year

It's 2011 today but the beginning of a new year hasn't instilled a new attitude in radical Muslims. Their thirst for jihad remains as fierce as ever, with Egyptian Christians being the first "infidels" of the new year to feel their wrath.

Just minutes after midnight on January 1st, a bomb exploded as Coptic Christians exited the Qidiseen or Saints Church in Alexandria, Egypt after attending a New Year's Mass. Twenty-one people were killed and nearly 100 were injured.

Coptic Christians, who make up 10% of Egypt's population and face increasing persecution, didn't take this attack lying down. Riots broke out almost immediately after the bombing, with Copts targeting Muslims passersby and a mosque across the street from the church. Police responded with rubber bullets and other methods to disperse the understandably angry crowds. Calm eventually returned to Alexandria's streets, but tensions between Muslims and Copts remained high.

The Egytian Interior Ministry claimed that "foreign elements", and not Egytian citizens, were responsible for the church bombing. Alexandria's governor, Adel Labib, blamed the bombing on Al Qaeda in Iraq, citing the threats the terror organization made against Egytian Christians in November. Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) promised attacks on the Egytian Church because it believes the Church is imprisoning two Christian women who converted to Islam in order to get divorces from their husbands (the Coptic Church forbids almost all divorces). Both AQI and hard-line Egytian Muslims accuse the Coptic Church of trying to force the two women to renounce Islam. The Church denies holding the women against their will.

This brutal attack on innocent Egyptian Christians could just as easily have happened in the West against American or European Christians. It serves as a bloody reminder that jihad is still on and that radical Muslims are commited to fighting "infidels" wherever we are. Their war on us is a religious duty commanded by their "prophet" in their "holy" book. And the aim of their war is to convert, subjugate, or kill us.

We must be courageous and resolute in fighting this evil and tenacious foe, and we must have no goal but victory. Without victory we in the West will find ourselves degraded to the same miserable, second-class status as the Copts in Egypt. Don't think that can happen? Remember, the Christians were once the majority in Egypt. No, sadly, the Muslims are. We must not let that happen in the West or that will be the end of Christian civilization. I, for one, believe that Christian civilization is worth defending whether in the West, in Egypt, or the Middle East. So I shout with the Coptic faithful who filled the streets of Alexandria after Saturday's attack, "With our blood and soul, we redeem the cross!" Amen.

Sacrificing Children To Multiculturalism

There's a barbaric ritual that's widely practiced in parts of Africa and the Middle East. This ritual is performed on female minors as young as infants and it's meant to "protect" their sexual purity by keeping them virginal until marriage. This ritual is often performed without anesthesia and with unsterilized instruments or even pieces of glass. This causes immense pain and trauma to the youngsters who are forced to endure this torture and exposes them to death from infection and/or excessive bleeding. What is this horror? It's female genital mutilation (FGM), also known as female circumcision. And this uncivilized--yes, uncivilized--practice has reared its ugly head in the West.

Female genital mutilation was brought to the West by immigrants from FGM-practicing cultures. Most Western nations have been both socially and legally hostile to the practice, but just this month a prestigious organization in America has given a nod to a "mild" form of the ritual. In a reversal of its 1998 policy, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has suggested that American law allow doctors to perform a "nick" on girls from immigrant families. The AAP has compared the severity of the proposed "nick" to that of ear piercing. What's the reason for the AAP's stunning reversal? Ostensibly, it's protection. Allowing this "gentler" form of FGM, the AAP argued, could prevent some girls from being sent to Third World countries for full circumcision, thereby preventing needless suffering and even saving lives. Ah, saving lives. Sounds so humane; too bad it's a total farce.

The real reason the American Academy of Pediatrics endorsed this genital "nick" was to show its cultural sensitivity. Apparently, the organization thought its previous zero tolerance policy toward FMG was too intolerant. So, the AAP chose to advocate this "modified" form of female circumcision to show its open mindedness and to appease certain immigrant communities. Let's make sure we understand what's happened here.

The American Academy of Pediatrics, an organization dedicated to the health of children has, in the name of a dubious sociopolitical dogma, chosen to give legitimacy to a medically unnecessary and barbaric practice performed almost exclusively on children. In short, the AAP has sacrificed children to multiculturalism. To call this an outrage would be an understatement.

Female circumcision is not only barbaric and unnecessary, it's also not a part of Western civilization. The West does not mutilate its daughters. And within the borders of our own countries we, the Western people, have not only the right but the duty to preserve, protect, and promote our own culture with all its morals, values and traditions. Cutting out our daughters' genitals is not a Western value, and we don't need to apologize for that. In fact, we need to be fiercely unapologetic about practicing our own culture in our own lands and expecting immigrants to do the same.

We, the Hesperian people, must make it clear that entrance into our lands is not an unconditional right. Rather, it is contigent upon the willingness of the foreigner to assimilate. Once they enter any one of our countries foreigners should understand, in no uncertain terms, that they are now living under Western culture and their native culture no longer applies. If foreigners don't want to accept this then they should leave or, better yet, not come to the West in the first place. The one thing they definitely have no right to do is demand that we change who we are in order to accommodate them. And the one thing no true Westerner should do is make such a change voluntarily. That's what the AAP has done.

Cultural sensitivity may have some benefits (although none come to mind), but when it extends to legitimizing barbarism it's gone horribly too far. The American Academy of Pediatrics should scrap multiculturalism and return to its job of promoting the medical well-being of children. The AAP should remember the cornerstone of the Hippocratic Oath: First, do no harm. This precept of Western medicine will not only protect Western children but Third World children as well. Did you get that? Western cultural values are beneficial even to people not of the West.

Too bad the American Academy of Pediatrics is blind to the goodness of its own heritage.

Civilians! Civilians!

It looks like American, NATO, and Afghan forces are close to completely securing the Taliban-held city of Marjah in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province. This is, of course, great news, although not much is being said about it in the mainstream media. What makes this impending victory really impressive is that the Americans and other forces are achieving it while being handicapped by strict rules of engagement designed to protect civilians. Apparently, Barack Obama, the oh-so-apologetic American president, wants to show the Muslim world what considerate fighters American and American-led forces can be. Even if it puts his own soldiers at risk. This is insane.

We are at war with Muslim terrorists. There is no option but victory for us because without victory there is no survival. The lives we should be concerned with first and foremost are the lives of our troops, not those of Muslims, civilian or terrorist. Sound harsh? Consider this. The Muslim world always shrieks with sanctimonious outrage when Muslim civilians are killed by non-Muslims, but there's nothing but deafening silence from the 'ummah when the killing goes the other way.

When the horror of 9/11 took place, killing almost totally civilians, there was no outrage from the Islamic world. Instead, we saw Muslims cheering and dancing in the streets.

When three Christian girls in Indonesia were beheaded on their way to school, there was no outrage from the Muslim world.

When journalist Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and then beheaded in Pakistan, there was no outrage from the Muslim world.

When Leon Klinghoffer, a wheelchair bound Holocaust survivor, was shot and thrown overboard during the hijacking of the cruise ship "Achille Lauro", there was no outrage from the Muslim world.

When hundreds of thousands of Kurds were murdered by Saddam Hussein in his infamous Al Anfal campaign, there was no outrage from the Muslim world.

When hundreds of Russian adults and children were held hostage and brutalized in their school by Muslim terrorists, there was no outrage from the Muslim world.

Are you seeing the pattern here?

Muslims' concern for civilians is utterly hypocritical...and revealing. It exposes how Muslims selectively value human life. To the 'ummah, non-Muslim civilians being killed by Muslims is acceptable. Muslim civilians being killed by Muslims is acceptable. The only killing of civilians that's not acceptable is the killing of Muslim civilians by non-Muslims. That is the only killing of noncombatants that provokes rage in Muslims. And no one dares to call them on it.

I have no problem with trying to protect civilians in wartime if it's at all possible. I DO have a problem with trying to protect Muslim civilians when the Islamic world has never shown any concern for non-Muslim civilians. The American president is convinced that the West can stop terrorism by being respectful towards Muslim civilians--and even combatants--in war. Would that president Barack Obama had the courage to demand reciprocal respect for non-Muslim civilians from Muslims.

Only In The Kingdom

I first heard of this last year and thought it was a fluke, but now it's happened again. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has banned the celebration of Valentine's Day. Yes, you read that right. A holiday dedicated to honoring and celebrating love, especially romantic love, is verboten in the Kingdom. And to make sure every Saudi got the point, the Kingdom's police confiscated every item, every product, in the nation's stores that was connected in any way to the heinous holiday. Still, many love struck Saudis risked the wrath of the religious police to buy tokens of love for their significant others. Red roses, now contraband, were selling at very high prices for days before today.

Can you imagine? Roses as contraband?! Forget drugs! Forget porno movies! It's those damn roses that are destroying the Kingdom's morals!

What accounts for this absurd policy in the Kingdom? Well, last year the explanation was that Valentine's Day was a Western holiday and its celebration in Saudi Arabia was an unacceptable encroachment of Western Christian culture into the birthplace of Islam. I didn't believe that last year and I don't believe it now. I think the real problem with Valentine's Day is that Saudi officialdom's fanatical brand of Islam is just antithetical to love. Don't think so? Then consider this.

If Saudi Islam is opposed to Western cultural celebrations of love, but not to love itself, then why ban Valentine's Day? Why not just Islamize it? Why not call February 14 Aisha's Day, after Mohammed's favorite wife? On that day Saudi men could buy gifts rooted in Islamic culture and faith and give them to their wives to show they loved them as much as Mohammed was said to love Aisha. The Kingdom could even use Aisha's Day to counter the "stereotype" that Islam, especially its brand of Islam, is a misogynist faith. And changing Valentine's Day to Aisha's Day wouldn't be totally unprecedented. In the past Islam had no problem turning Christian churches into mosques, so changing a Christian holiday into an Islamic one shouldn't be hard or distasteful. This would be the best solution to the Valentine's Day "problem"...if the Kingdom's faith believed in love. It doesn't.

Saudi Arabia is ruled by the fanatically puritanical and fundamentalist version of Islam called Wahhabism. This faith can't stomach a celebration of love, whatever its origin, because it can't stomach love itself. For Saudi officialdom, love is the real problem, not Valentine's Day.

Only in the Kingdom, and I don't mean the magic one.

It's Terrorism This Time

On Christmas Day an attempted bombing of a US airliner was averted when the would be bomber's explosive device failed to go off. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a 23-year-old Nigerian with suspected links to al-Qaeda, tried to blow up Delta-owned Northwest Airlines flight 253 as it descended toward Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Nearly 300 people would've been killed had the bomb detonated as planned. Perhaps because of the withering criticism it received over its guarded response to the Fort Hood attack, the Obama administration wasted no time calling this attempted bombing an act of terrorism. Unfortunately, the new American administration is still committed to a pre-9/11 mentality regarding Islamic terrorism.

Rather than being put into military custody and "enhancedly" interrogated--or, better yet, summarily executed--Abdulmutallab was treated like a common criminal, taken into regular police custody and read the charges against him by a civilian judge who worried if he was pronouncing the Muslim's name right. All this while Abdulmutallab was being treated, presumably at taxpayers' expense, for burns received during his failed detonation attempt. But don't throw up just yet.

Back at the White House, Attorney General Eric "lets-try-KSM-in-New-York" Holder boldly declared that the US government was "vigorously" investigating the case and all those responsible would be "brought to justice". Wow! If that doesn't strike terror into the hearts of our enemies nothing will.

This is insane. How many Americans--how many Westerners of any nationality--have to die before the "progressive", multi-culti, don't-offend-the-Muslims crowd that's now in power will wake up and smell the proverbial coffee? Terrorists don't need to be "brought to justice"; they need to be killed. And if we're going to treat terrorism like a law enforcement problem, why didn't we stop Abdulmutallab before he got anywhere near a plane? I mean, there were warning signs about him just as there were about the Fort Hood terrorist.

Just weeks before he boarded flight 253, Abdulmutallab's own father had warned US officials about his son, saying he might be becoming militant. This led to A (tired of writing out the whole name) being put into a terrorism database but not on a no-fly list. He also wasn't put on a list for additional security checks. Apparently, that's how A was able not only to get near a plane but board with a bomb on his person. Can you say, incompetent? I knew you could!

This pre-9/11, law enforcement approach to terrorism has to go! It was tried all through the '70's, '80's, and '90's and was a colossal failure. The greatest testament to that failure was September 11, 2001. TREATING TERRORISM LIKE CRIME DOESN'T STOP TERRORISM. And the mojo of a left-wing Black president attuned to Third World grievances won't work, either. Barack Obama was supposed to end terrorism by brown nosing Muslims and apologizing for America's existence. Obviously, the Nigerian didn't get that memo.

We must wait and see what will happen to Abdulmutallab. The most likely scenario, given the current administration, is that he'll spend years tying up the civilian court system while using it as a pulpit to spew hateful anti-American, anti-Western jihadist rhetoric. And the American people will have the privilege of paying for it.

Now you can throw up.

Honor Killing I Can Believe In

This may come as a surprise, but I kind of like the idea of honor killing. No, not the sick kind of "honor" killing done by Muslims, but a truly honorable form of honor killing. Let me explain.

In the Islamic world there's this weird obsession with family "honor", epitomized by the chastity of the family's women. A family is only as honorable as it's women are virginal. Any breach of female purity brings egregious disgrace on the family, disgrace that can be alleviated only by the death of the sullied woman. And it doesn't matter how the female became impure, nor does her age make any difference in applying the "remedy". A victim of rape or incest is just as much a cause of disgrace as a purposely promiscuous woman. A child can be just as much a cause of disgrace as an adult female. In Iran a man living in a podunk village beheaded his 7-year-old daughter because he suspected his brother of molesting her. He killed his daughter, not her alleged attacker. This is barbaric, and isn't the kind of honor killing I believe in.

When I hear the phrase "honor killing", I ask myself this question: what's more dishonorable, to have a rape victim in the family or a rapist in the family? Those of us in the West know the right answer to that question; Muslims don't. We Westerners know that the real disgrace is being the relative of a man who brutalizes women and/or children. The real disgrace is seeing all of your child training effort end in the creation of a predator. Honor killing should be about expunging the shame of the rapist's family. If a rapist's father or brother kills him as the ultimate way to say, "We're sorry", and in order to remove the family's shame, that's honor killing I can believe in.

That father in Iran should've beheaded his brother, not his daughter. A child or woman who's been attacked by a larger and stronger male isn't the cause of anyone's shame. The Iranian father murdered his baby girl because of Islam's perverted vision of morality and justice. And to think some PC whipped Westerners want to facilitate the spread of that perverted vision into the West. Perhaps they should be beheaded. That, too, would be honor killing I can believe in.

Hail The Hammer!

In honor of the defeat of the Muslim invaders of France by Frankish king Charles "The Hammer" Martel, I'm reprinting a post from the blog Arthur's Hall of Viking Manliness. The piece was originally posted in February but is most appropriate for today, October 10, the nearly 1300th anniversary of The Hammer's historic victory over the real infidels. Read and be inspired to continue the fight against Mohammed's insatiable horde.

Arthur's Man Of The Month: Charles Martel

[On October 10], 732 [AD] a major event took place that shaped the world we live in. In fact, it may have been one of the [most] important events in the course of Western [Christian] Civilization. Yet...I'm guessing that 99% of you have no clue what I'm talking about, which is why I bring it up. The event I am alluding to is the Battle of Tours [where] the forces of Frankish king Charles "The Hammer" Martel defeated the boy raping Muslim invaders who'd set their sites on Continental Europe after subduing the pussy Spaniards.

It is hard to overstate the importance of this victory. The goat herding hordes had already turned Spain into a Muslim nation and were set on conquering the rest of Europe. Obviously, had they been successful it is possible that I would be praising Mohammed and his patron saint Obama...but because of men like Martel, the truth can still be told.

We all know that the Muslims would've never had a chance against the Germanic folk in the north of Europe, but Martel and his men were the first to halt the advance of the Muslims in Europe. He must be turning over in his grave at this point, seeing the destruction of the continent...culture, [and Faith] that he helped save nearly 1300 years ago. The story of "The Hammer" should be told all over Europe to inspire a sense of pride in being European. Modern Euros are such disgraceful pussies that they are literally welcoming their own extinction and everyone knows it but them. They are an insult to their ancestors, the ancestors who created this world and everything that is good on the planet Earth. My disgust for the modern people of Continental Europe knows little bounds. But back to Martel...

Charles Martel was born in [what is now] Belgium to a local leader and a concubine. He was said to have been a powerfully built man. His early career as a military leader foreshadowed his tactical genius. His first major victory was one with an army [that] was far smaller [than the opposing army], and he used tactics like "feigned retreat" that were new to European warfare. His attacks were always coordinated to happen in places and times that were unexpected to the opposing force. Another unusual trait of Martel was his fairness after scouring victory. Dark Ages Europe was beset with cruelty; vengeance, sacking, pillaging, and widespread rape were the norm for a victorious force. Martel would have none of that. He would generally allow the losing commanders to leave in peace.

After capturing power of much of the Frankish Kingdom in 718, [Martel] set out against the [Germans], who had continually been a nuisance, as the Romans found out 300 years earlier. [Martel] did something that the Romans could never do...he defeated the Germans at Teutoberg Forest, the site of an epic massacre of three Roman legions. Later in his reign, he subdued southern Germany, and the Frankish Kingdom at that point encompassed nearly all of what is now Germany, as well as Holland, Belgium, and most of France. South and east of the Frankish strongholds the Muslims were starting to invade southern Gaul (France) and Martel realized that he needed a full time...professional army to defeat the forces of the Emir of Cordoba. He seized Church lands and treasure in order to pay his troops so that they could train year round. An excellent decision but a difficult one, [for] at the time the Church was all powerful. His actions were possible grounds for excommunication, but because he is the type of man we are to celebrate...he did not care.

The Battle of Tours is seen as a "macrohistorical" event, literally meaning that the history of the world could've been altered had the outcome been different. It is thought that only the Franks were capable of opposing the professional and lethal cavalry of the Muslim invaders. After Martel's victory at Tours, the Caliphate would never again regain a foothold in Europe proper, instead being confined to Iberia. It would take another 700 years to rid [Europe] of the goat herders, but the eventual victory of Europe over Islam was set in motion by the heroism and genius of Charles "The Hammer" Martel. Perhaps no man was more important in the political structure and practices of Dark Ages Europe. Before Martel, Europe was a series of small fiefdoms with small, unprofessional, barbarian type military forces. [Martel] was the first since the fall of Rome to organize an army and lay the groundwork for a nation.

[Charles Martel's] genetic legacy is also outstanding. We all know that leaving behind strong and able sons is a big part of what goes into being a man. Legacies of great men like Alexander [the Great]...were not secured because of the lack of a legitimate heir. Unlike Alexander, Charles Martel's son Pippin the Younger, was recognized by the Church as the unquestioned leader of the Franks. He shared his father's vision of eradicating Islam from Europe and continued to battle the Moors in Gaul and Iberia. Most importantly, Pippin had a son named Charlemagne. If you don't know about the importance of Charlemagne, go read something. He may have been (next to his grandfather) the most important leader in Europe's history. Needless to say, Charles Martel made an impact in his own time and for centuries to come. Very few men can challenge his importance or legacy in Europe. Charles "The Hammer" Martel is unquestionably a legendary man, more than worthy of his selection as the Arthur's Hall Man of the Month. Hail the Hammer!

This guest column has it spot on! Far too few are brave enough in this politically correct age to hail the victory of Christian Europe over Islam, or to admit Islam's insatiable imperialism. Arthur did it and for that I give him a big slap on the back. You go Arthur! You are truly living in the spirit of Martel!

The Sultan Of Surrender, Part 2

The American president is at it again.

Overlooked amid the raucous debate that's erupted over his proposed health care reform, Barack Obama declared that America is no longer at war with jihadis but only with Al Qaeda terrorists who, of course, are jihadis. The incompetence of the American president is astounding, yet not all together surprising.

Barack Obama is a child of the American Left, a political crowd that, at best, has a love-hate relationship with their own country. The American Left, like the international Left, has never been able to bring itself to recognize Islamic terrorism for the threat that it is. To do that would mean leftists would have to jettison their whole paradigm for seeing the world. That paradigm places the West in general and America in particular at the center of all world unrest. In short, Islamic terrorism is the West's, particularly America's, fault. So believes the world Left. And the American president is beholden to them. He is one of them.

Barack Obama is not only the president of America, he is also the commander-in-chief of the American military. As such, he certainly has access to information showing what's really going on in the world. He may really want to fight radical Islam but if so, he wants to do it while remaining true to the paradigm described above. Hence these Orwellian word games.

America is no longer fighting terrorism; she's conducting "overseas contingency operations". And she's no longer at war with jihadis, only with Al Qaeda. Why? Because only Al Qaeda attacked America on September 11, 2001, says the Obama administration. But what about those non-Al Qaeda jihadis? Does Barack Obama think they will just change their beliefs and lay down their arms if America declares she's no longer at war with them? Apparently, yes. They have to, because the Left's paradigm says they're aggressive only in reaction to American/Western provocation. If America will--let's call it what it is--surrender, the other terrorists will drop their guns and go home. War over.

When the American people elected Barack Obama they elected a far-left true believer who's ambivalent, at best, about his country. Obama would never shout, "God damn America!" as did his good friend Jeremiah Wright, but the sentiments behind those words are his guiding principle. How, then, could he possibly want America to prevail even against Al Qaeda? Answer: he doesn't. Oh, Obama will play at defense. He'll talk tough and might even take some token action here and there, but victory won't be the goal. As a good leftist, the only thing Obama believes America deserves is defeat, and he'll work overtime to deliver. It'll be disguised as diplomacy, humility, reaching out to the world community, but it'll still be ignoble, self-inflicted defeat. That's all that Obama has the capacity to give. He's no commander-in-chief; he's the sultan of surrender. And we will all pay for that one day.

Pride And Remembrance

Today is July 7th, the fourth anniversary of the deadly London subway bombings. The bombings were perpetrated, of course, by Muslim terrorists. As we remember the innocents who died that day we Hesperians must also reawaken our courage and pride and resolve to fight for the survival of our civilization in the face of the Islamic threat .

The Muslim terrorists who attacked London want what the Muslim terrorists who attacked America on September 11 want: our destruction. They want the end of our Western Christian civilization. They purpose to achieve that end by either converting, subjugating, or killing us. And they are serious about it.

Muslims have a religion that tells them to conquer the world. Faithful Muslims seek to do that by the methods mentioned above, and by another method of conquest that's only recently opened up for tnem: immigration. Infiltration of our civilization through immigration is the Muslims' "nonviolent" jihad. The strategy is simple.

Muslims come here by the tens of thousands, and then increase their numbers even more through reproduction. As mostly non-White people, they then exploit our aversion to racism by claiming any opposition to them, their faith, or their radicalism is racist. As this specious accusation gathers steam, the Muslims just wait for us to have the expected reaction: a sickening round of brown nosing of Muslims to prove how non-racist we are. In a rush to show our racial enlightenment, we spit on our own heritage and glorify those who would conquer us. Slavishly adhering to the "anti-racist" doctrine of multiculturalism, we enthusiastically become participants in our own demise. Barack Obama, the new American president, seems to be trying to pass Europeans in the race down the dhimmi brick road. In a speech before the Turkish parliament today, Obama declared that the US is not at war with Islam. He claimed that the great majority of Muslims have nothing in common with terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda. He went on to claim that Muslims have "enriched America" and then touted his own Muslim roots. Obama then stated that he was converting to Islam and would replace the US Constitution with Sharia law. Just kidding. But not by much.

In his speech at the Democratic National Convention last year, Obama shouted with great passion, "Don't tell me Democrats don't want to defend America!". Well, I'm telling you, Democrats, led by Obama, don't want to defend America nor Western Christian civilization. The American president's performance in Turkey proved that. Not only did he grovel to Muslims but he took swipes at his own country. Obama dredged up America's past injustices to Blacks and Native Americans, as if that had anything to do with Muslims. He repudiated Gitmo and stated that, under his administration, America would not torture, all but saying that under the previous administration she had. This is a frightening shame.

Americans and Christian Westerners at large ARE at war with Islam, not because we want to be but because Islam chose to be at war with us. And Islam made that choice centuries ago. In 652 AD Arab Muslims first attacked Christian Sicily. In 717 AD Muslims laid seige for the first time to Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine (Eastern Roman) Christian Empire. In 711 Muslims began their conquest of Christian Spain and tried to conquer the rest of Europe but were stopped in France by Charles Martel in 732 AD. All of this Islamic aggression against the West occurred hundreds of years BEFORE the Crusades, Christendom's belated defensive wars that are always blamed for causing the animosity between the West and Islam. And Muslims kept attacking Europe for hundreds of years AFTER the Crusades, inflicting great oppression and suffering on the native Christian population. Obama mentioned none of this.

When Barack Obama spoke before the Turkish Parliament he spoke like the perfect dhimmi. He apologized for America's "sins" while not demanding or even expecting a reciprocal mea culpa from the Muslim world, even though one was definitely in order. Instead, he purposely left the impression that America, the West in general, is the only civilization to have done wrong in history. Obama did mention the Armenian genocide, but he didn't call it a genocide in deference to the Muslim Turks. He wasn't so concerned with the feelings of his fellow Christians, though, nor with historical truth.

Barack Obama is hailed by the American and international Left as a great new leader, the bringer of much needed change after the "arrogant" and "warmongering" Bush administration. And the Left is right. Barack Obama is leading a wave of change in America and the West, but it won't bring the results the Left is promising us. Obama's conciliatory, self-hating pose before the Islamic world will only breed contempt for us in the hearts of our Muslim enemies. They now see that not only is America, the world's lone super power, weak, but we are celebrating that weakness as a great leap forward. Obama has stepped onto the world stage as the Great Surrenderer and he's being lionized for it. The jihadis are watching, and we will pay...dearly.

Shock And Awe In The Gaza Strip

It's about time!!!!! Today Israel finally took decisive action against the terrorist training camp otherwise known as the Gaza Strip. The Jewish state finally got fed up with Hamas, which controls the Strip, firing rockets at its citizens and began a punishing air offensive to stop it. Again, I say it's about time!!!!

It's about time Israel committed itself to it's own defense no matter what the anti-Semitic "world community" thinks. Hamas is committed to Israel's destruction. Instead of improving the lives of the Gazan Palestinians since gaining control there last year, Hamas has done nothing but attack Israel. The Israelis have been patient, even naive, in dealing with these Palestinian scumbags. Trying to please the world, trying to be humane, Israel let its people get bombarded by endless rocket attacks without fighting back. And what did the Jewish state get for that? Nothing but contempt and condemnation just for existing. That stopped today.

Today, Israel unleashed its armed might against that nest of vipers in Gaza. Israeli planes bombed Hamas strongholds, killing at least 200 people, and the offensive shows no sign of slowing. I hope and pray that this is just the beginning. I hope and pray that Israel is determined not to stop until Hamas is utterly decimated, no matter how many civilian casualties that requires. The last thing Israel needs is a repeat of the disastrous Lebanon war of '06, when she caved to world opinion and stopped fighting way short of victory. The result of that is that Hezboallah is now stronger than it was two years ago. Israel can't afford that again.

So far, Israel has said that its aim in this offensive is to stop Hamas's rocket attacks. That doesn't sit well with me. While stopping the rocket attacks is good, Israel's goal should be larger than that. Her goal should be to ensure her survival. Personally, I think that should mean cleansing Gaza entirely of Palestinians. Israel should force the Gazan Palestinians into the Sinai desert and let their Arab "brothers" take care of them. She should then repopulate Gaza with patriotic Israelis who are unapologetically committed to their nation's survival. Israel almost certainly won't do this but she should, and then tell the "world community" to f**k off.

Where ever Israel's current offensive leads I pray the Jewish state has the resolve to fight to total victory for, as Winston Churchill said in his nation's darkest hour, without victory there is no survival. Hail Israel!!!!

I can't believe what I'm about to write here. No wait, I CAN believe it; I just don't want to. I came across this story on Angel's blog at Woman Honor Thyself and I thought I'd put my spin on it here. Read it and weep.

In Armonk, New York the Islamic star and crescent has been added to the village's Christmas display along with the Christmas tree and the menorah. Never mind that there isn't an Islamic holiday in December; the PC whipped townlet felt it was time to be inclusive--man I hate that word!--and celebrate all cultures during this Christian holiday. Actually, this wasn't the town's idea. Asad Jilani, a Muslim resident of Armonk, felt left out--poor thing!--and asked the village to include the symbol for his religion, you know, the one that inspires people the world over to murder "infidels", i.e. you and me. Such inclusiveness. All to promote peace, you see. Good, good, good vibrations!

When the star and crescent went up Jilani and two other townspeople expressed the majority opinion, calling the Islamic display "very attractive" and Armonk "magnificent" for being so open. The director of the Armonk Chamber of Commerce, Judy Wesley, was pleased at Armonk's "spirit of inclusion" and claimed that "Jesus Christ himself would have gathered everyone around Him." What ARE these people smoking?!?!

Let me explain something to the clueless, self-hating dhimmis of Armonk. Armonk is a town in New York. New York is a state in the United States of America. The U.S. of A is a country in Western civilization. The religious heritage of Western civilization is CHRISTIAN. During Christmas we Westerners celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who gave us our Christian heritage. Christmas was never meant to be "inclusive". It is an expression of our great Judeo-Christian culture, a culture we should CHERISH, not submerge into a messy, multicultural composite.

The culture that should be celebrated in the West is Western culture, and it should be celebrated without apology. Islam is not part of our heritage, except when we fought against its efforts to conquer us. We have NO obligation to put the star and crescent in our Christmas displays or any where else, for that matter. And if Muslims complain? Tough. Their demands for tolerance and inclusion would have more credibility if they practiced those things themselves. How tolerant is the Islamic Republic of Iran, which hangs homosexuals? How inclusive is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where Islam is the only legal religion?

Instead of whining about being left out of our holiday festivities, Asad Jilani and other Western Muslims should be out protesting the tyranny and intolerance of Muslim societies. And we true Westerners should firmly reject unilateral tolerance, unilateral inclusiveness, and unilateral multiculturalism and recommit ourselves to pride in OUR OWN culture. We need to reawaken ourselves to the greatness of Western Christian civilization and fight for its survival. Otherwise "Merry Christmas" will be replaced with "Merry Dhimmitude".

Another Capitulation To Muslims

While watching The O'Reilly Factor last night I found out about another capitulation to the sensitive sensibilities of Muslims. It seems that Random House book publishing company has pulled the plug on a novel about the "romance" between the "prophet" Mohammed and his child bride Aisha, whom he married when she was six years old. Just days before the book, titled "The Jewel of Medina" (TJoM), was to be released Random House backed off, citing concerns that the novel might incite violence from the followers of the religion of peace. And what's really upsetting about this is that concern over the novel wasn't raised by Muslims but by University of Texas professor Denise Spellberg who, apparently, has appointed herself Protector of Islamic Feelings. And there are other such protectors around.

In Serbia--Serbia!--TJoM was pulled off bookstore shelves and the publisher apologized for publishing it after some Muslim group threatened to protest. When are we in the West going to stop doing this? Muslims kill us or threaten to kill us repeatedly; they oppress their religious and/or ethnic minorities; they execute homosexuals and "unchaste" women; they call for the destruction of an entire nation; yet we strain to be sensitive to their little feelings. This Spellberg person felt she had to warn Muslims about a novel that supposedly "made fun of [them] and their history". Ah yes, it's MUCH worse for a Westerner to make fun of Muslims than it is for Muslims to actually kill Westerners. You see, they wouldn't feel compelled to murder us if we understood them better. So goes the thinking of Quislings like Spellberg. I ask again, when are we in the West going to stop this?!

Freedom of speech used to be a cherished principle in Hesperia. Now, protecting Muslims' feelings is the highest good. What's wrong with a little censorship if it serves the cause of not offending Mohammed's followers? Isn't refraining from giving such offense the best way to prevent terrorism? The more we show Muslims that we like them, that we're on their side, to the point of violating our own rights and freedoms, then surely they'll drop this jihad nonsense and live in peace with us. Sherry Jones, the auther of TJoM, claimed that she wrote "respectfully" of the "great historical figures" Mohammed and Aisha, and that her book was meant to be a "bridge-builder" between Muslims and Westerners. Well Ms. Jones, just look at what your appeasement got you.

Muslims don't want to intergrate into Western civilization; they want to Islamize it. Appeasement emboldens them. They use fear of terrorist violence or mere protests to cow us Westerners into living by Islamic rules, chief of which is the rule that Islam, Mohammed, and Muslims must NEVER be offended. You can photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine. You can make an image of the Virgin Mary out of elephant dung. You can trash the Catholic church in books like "The Da Vinci Code" and mock evangelical Protestants in movies like "Saved!" and in inumerable tv shows. Freedom of speech absolutely allows that. But we must not think that freedom of speech protects criticism of Islam. What a warmongering notion!

Muslims will keep pushing and pushing the envelope until we wake up one morning and find that Sharia law has become the law of the land. I repeat, appeasement only emboldens them. It convinces Muslims that they can win because the West is too self-loathing to defend itself. Canadian author Mark Steyn, who had his own battle with protect-the-Muslims censorship, wrote that the future belongs to the fertile and the confident. We Westerners consistenly show that we are neither while Muslims are definitely both.

But all is not yet lost. There is reason for hope. Shortly after "The Jewel of Medina" was cancelled by Random House publishers in Italy, Spain, and Hungary bought rights to the book. Bravo to them! There are still those in the West who cherish our liberties and our civilization and will not be intimidated by Islam. The Italian, Spanish, and Hungarian publishers of TJoM will, no doubt, come in for such intimidation but I have a strong feeling that they will not cave. Their steadfastness will tell the Muslims that the Islamization of the West is not assured. There are still Westerners with the will and the guts to fight for their land. They are the Hammer Folk, the shield of Hesperia, and with God's help they will save Western civilization.

Feminisim has come to Islam! That's right. Some Muslim women are shaking up the ranks of radical Islam by demanding the right to--are you ready?--blow themselves up for Allah! No more just having babies for jihad. No, these women want to become full blown gun toting, suicide belt wearing jihadis. Just like the men. And you thought Islam couldn't be progressive on gender issues. You bigot you!

So, what trigged this distaff rebellion? It was a statement by Al Qaeda's number two man, Ayman al-Zawahiri who, on a jihadi website, denied there were women in Al Qaeda, thereby angering many of the women who are, in fact, part of the organization. On the website al-Zawahiri took a very traditional Islamic position, saying that women's role in jihad is to raise children and support their "brothers" who are fighting. This didn't sit well with a lot of the liberated ladies of radical Islam. Oh no. Just supporting the brothers isn't enough. They want any willing Muslim woman to be allowed to kill herself for Allah and experience martyrdom. Just what female martyrs will receive on their entrance to paradise--are they even guaranteed paradise?--isn't said, but I highly doubt it'll be a mansion full of virgins like the men get.

Some militant Muslims have been using female suicide bombers for some time. Those progressive Palestinians lead the way on that. Al-Zawahiri, though, wasn't willing to give the feminine martyrs their proper due. The hungry-for-martyrdom feminists are out to change that. It'll be interesting to see how this gender spat turns out. Who could imagine women complaining that they aren't allowed to kill themselves or aren't given proper kudos when they do? Only in the religion of peace, folks. Only in the religion of peace.

I must admit I wasn't expecting this. I came across this startling information while surfing one of my favorite blogs, Woman Honor Thyself. Being shocked at what I read, I did a google search and discovered that WHT was right. And just what is it that had me staring at my computer screen in disbelief? The Australian government is taking legal action in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Iran's Ahmadenijad for inciting hatred against Israel. You read that right.

Australia's new prime minister, Kevin Rudd, is taking Iran's president to court! Rudd is making good on a campaign promise he made to Australia's Jewish community. Rudd said if elected he would take Ahmadenijad to court in the ICJ for inciting hatred against Jews, calling for the destruction of Israel, and denying the Holocaust. What makes this shocking is that Rudd is a center-left PM, the head of the Australian Labor Party. Such unabashed opposition to Iran from a left-leaning politcian is almost unheard of. What we usually get from them is a witch's brew of anti-Zionist and anti-American justifications for Islamic terrorism and anti-Semitism. Rudd is a refreshing change of pace.

What will become of Australia's lawsuit against Ahmadenijad? Will the International Court of Justice actually do anything to Iran? Probably not. I suspect that body will prove to be as impotent and anti-Western as the UN. Still, I'm jubilant that a country besides the United States and a leader besides George W. Bush sees the mullahs' Iran for the evil entity that it is. Chalk up one for Kevin Rudd! Chalk up one for the Aussies! Now if only the rest of Hesperia will get it.

Finally, a band that gets it!!!! Rap/rock artists Stuck Mojo have dropped a musical atom bomb on radical Islam with their stirring song "Open Season".

I came across this awesome video while surfing on Pela68's blog. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. A rap/rock band that boldly, loudly, and proudly declares the truth about Islam and pointedly warns the jihadis what awaits them if they "step in my hood." This song is the battle hymn of the global anti-jihad. Listen and take heart.

I Stand With Serbia

Ser-bi-a! Ser-bi-a! Ser-bi-a! Ser-bi-a!

In the current crisis caused by the unilateral declaration of independence by the Kosovar Albanians, I stand with Serbia. I don't do this because the Serbs are more innocent than anyone else in the Balkans; they are not. The Serbs have committed their share of atrocities, as have ALL the Balkan peoples, although media coverage of the Bosnian and Kosovar wars in the '90's made it appear that the Serbs were the only aggressors. I stand with Serbia because she was dealt a gross injustice by the international community. I stand with Serbia because a hole was torn in her national soul to, I believe, appease resurgent Islam.

Please understand this. Kosovo isn't some meaningless piece of land Serbia acquired recently in its history. No, Kosovo is the heart and soul of Serbia; it is Serbia's Jerusalem. To rip Kosovo from Serbia in the name of some sort of ethnic justice is absurd and criminal. If the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo felt persecuted by the Serbs they could've just returned to their own country, Albania.

Indeed, returning the Kosovar Albanians to Albania would've been the truly just solution to the ethnic unrest in Kosovo. Had they wanted to, the Western powers could've made that solution a reality. They could've forced Albania and the Kosovars to accept a humane repatriation plan. To sweeten the deal a generous economic aid package could've been given to Albania to help it absorb the refugees. An aid package could've been given to Serbia too, to help it through any economic dislocation caused by the exit of hundreds of thousands of people from its territory. The main loser in this plan would've been Albania's Christian minority which would've been made smaller by the influx of the predominately Muslim Kosovars. That would've been a relatively small price to pay, though, to prevent the establishment of a second Muslim state in Europe.

Alas, the Western powers didn't have the balls to propose let alone enforce such a plan. They found it easier to tear Serbia asunder in order to benefit Muslims who, no doubt, will prove utterly ungrateful in the end. I hope and pray that Serbia will soon be strong enough to retake Kosovo, by force if necessary. Forcibly expelling, as opposed to peacefully repatriating, the Kosovar Albanians may be necessary for the Serbs to keep control of their ancestral heartland. That's not a pretty thought but it would be the ultimate result of the Kosovars trying to create Greater Albania on Serbian land. It would be preferable if it didn't come to that but if history unfolds that way I want the world to know I stand with Serbia!

No Money For You, Missie

It seems that the Danes need to donate some of their courage to their Germanic cousins, the Dutch. While Denmark is standing firm against violent Islamic efforts to squash freedom of speech, the Netherlands is refusing to continue to protect one of it's most prominent citizens from Islamic aggression.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born Dutch citizen and former MP, has lived under armed guard since the 2004 murder of Theo Van Gogh, with whom she made an anti-Islamic film. The Dutch government recently stopped paying for Ali's security, forcing her to appear before the European Parliament (EP) on Valentine's Day to plead for aid. The cost of her security, Ali explained, "is beyond anything I can pay". The EP referred her request to a committee. Encouragingly, some French MPs offered French citizenship to Ali so the French government could protect her. I don't know if Ali accepted their proposal.

This entire episode is an outrage! It should arouse fierce anger in the heart of every Dutch national and every member of the Hammer Folk. The Dutch government has thrown one of its own to the wolves. If Ali doesn't immigrate to France or some other country willing to protect her, she's a dead woman. The jihadis would've succeeded in frightening a Western government out of it's most sacred duty: defending its people. If this proves to be the case, Europe is doomed. Denmark can't stop the Islamic horde alone. Join me in praying the Netherlands will revive its courage and stand against Islamic darkness. All our lives, not just Ayaan Hirsi Ali's, depend on it.

Just What We Need, Another Muslim State!

Today America and several EU nations extended diplomatic recognition to the province of Kosovo, which declared its independence from Serbia yesterday. I have a very bad feeling about this.

I admit that when Bill Clinton bombed Serbia in 1999 in order to help the Kosovar Albanians I supported him. I thought that the Kosovars were totally the innocent party and, in those pre-9/11 days, their status as Muslims was irrevelant to me. Not anymore. Now that I understand how radical Islam is digging its roots into Europe it's frightening to think it now has a potential new base of operation.

True, the Kosovar Albanians have been called "secular" Muslims and the president of Kosovo has promised it will be a democratic, multiethnic state. Yet, the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) which fought Serbia for independence in '98-'99 was known to have radical Islamic elements. The KLA is now disbanded but it's naive, I fear, to think that jihadis won't see an independent Kosovo as a base for the further Islamization of Europe. There's already one predominately Muslim and Albanian nation in Europe: Albania! Why do we need another one? There's something funny going on here. I just hope Europe will figure it out before it's too late.

Well, well, Mr. Williams. So you want Sharia law in Britain, huh? Then take a look at a recent happening in Gaza so you can give your fellow Britons an accurate sermon on what they can expect if you should get your way.

In Gaza 16 Palestinian Muslims broke into a YMCA, stole everything but the Y's books, then set the building on fire with an explosive device, destroying thousands of books. The attackers were members of Hamas and it's ally organization Popular Resistance Committees. This isn't the first attack on Gazan Christians since Hamas took power in the territory last June. In October of '07 Rami Ayyad, manager of Gaza's only Christian bookstore, was abducted, tortured, and murdered. He had begun receiving death threats, and his store was firebombed, in April. And in September grenades were lobbed at a church.

Sheik Abu Saqer, leader of the group Jihadia Salafiya which carried out the attacks on Ayyad's store and the church, claimed the Y was proselytizing because it had some Muslim children in its nursery. He also said that "missionary activity" was "endangering the Christian community in Gaza." Hmmm. Christians are attacked and murdered and their churches and institutions bombed by Muslims but the Christians are to blame. They are endangering themselves by "proselytizing". But not to worry! Christians can live in peace in Gaza, said Sheik Saqer, so long as they accept Islamic law, including women being covered in public. What a relief!

Why Not Do This To Islam?

It's baaaaaack! "Corpus Christi", a blasphemous, anti-Christian play first performed in New York City in October of 1998 has reared its ugly head again. The play, which depicts Jesus and His disciples as homosexuals, is set to open on February 7 in Sydney, Australia as part of the city's annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Robert Forsyth, Anglican Bishop of South Sydney, has condemned "Corpus Christi" as "historical nonsense" and "deliberately, not innocently, offensive". He's right. So where's the pc, anti-hate crowd on this one?

Why is it so acceptable in the West to attack Christianity? Perhaps because Christians don't behead people who insult their faith. True, bomb threats were made against "Corpus Christi" when it first opened but no bombings ever took place. So Christian hating gays and other "progressives" feel free to continually mock, ridicule, and attack Christ and His followers. They fancy themselves daring and brave for doing so. But if they truly wanted to be courageous they would mock, ridicule, and attack Islam.

How about Terrence McNally, author of "Corpus Christi", write a play depicting Mohammed and some of his followers as homosexuals. In the play Abu Bakr, Mohammed's best friend and first convert, could give the "prophet" his six-year-old son in marriage rather than his daughter. Mohammed could consummate this marriage when the boy is ten, as he did in real life with Bakr's daughter Aisha. Later, Mohammed could claim that Allah had given him his adopted son's male lover, instead of wife, as his own. Sure, all this would offend Muslims but so what. McNally and his crowd don't give a you-know-what about offending Christians. Why should Muslims be treated with respect?

It's Islamic regimes that are executing gays as violators of morality. Christians who oppose gay marriage do only that; they don't advocate that the government kill gays in order to enforce Biblical morals. Yet Western gay artists and activists remain fixated on Christianity as the primary threat against them. Cowardice explains this disconnect from reality. If McNally wrote the kind of play described above he'd become an instant target for death. In fact, a British Islamic group did issue a fatwa against McNally when "Corpus Christi" ran in London in 1999. The death edict has never been carried out, probably because Jesus isn't the most important figure in Islam's prophet hierarchy. Blasphemy against Mohammed is an altogether different matter. He IS the top dog and "insulting" him is deadly serious business. After seeing how the practitioners of the religion of peace reacted to the publication of mere cartoons of their "prophet", gay activists have been easily terrorized into silence on Islam's anti-gay violence.

Terrence McNally, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Andres Serrano, and others of their ilk who trade in anti-Christian bigotry while ignoring Islamic oppression of women, religious minorities, and gays deserve utter contempt. They are proof of just how cowardly, corrupt, hateful, and pathetic Hesperia's cultural elite is. No credence should be given to anything they say about Christianity or anything else. They should be opposed as fiercely as we oppose enemies of Western Christian civilization for that, in fact, is what they are.

Why Do They Come Here?

The murder of sisters Amina and Sarah Said, most likely by their father, not only shocked and sickened me but also prompted me to revisit a question I've asked myself before. If Muslims hate the West so much; if they think we are so decadent and so hateful toward Islam then why do they come here?

The Said sisters' father, an Egyptian immigrant, presumably murdered them because they had become too Western for his liking. Yet what did he expect when raising his children in America, in the West? If Yaser Abdel Said wanted his daughters to be proper Muslim maidens he should've stayed in Egypt and reared them there. In the US he could give his children a Muslim upbringing at home but the expectation that his Islamic values would be reinforced by society was tragically misplaced.

The West is not an Islamic civilization. The Koran is not the foundation of our culture. Yet Muslims come here and have the audacity to get angry that we don't think and live like they do.
They disdain our culture and our values, yet they are coming to Hesperia in record numbers. Again we must ask, why?

Some Muslims immigrate to Western countries simply for a better life, like other Third World residents. But I believe there is more going on with Islamic immigration than that. Islam is an inherently expansionist religion. It's ultimate goal is global domination, an Islamic world. And jihad is the method. We know all to well about violent jihad but Muslims also practice what they call "peaceful" jihad, which aims aren't very peaceful to non-Muslims.

The goal of global Islamic domination will be realized when the majority of the world practices the Islamic faith and/or is under Muslim political control. But how can Islam be spread into the West? Immigration! Immigration is the tip of the spear of peaceful jihad. Through immigration Muslims seek to establish in Western countries a beachhead from which to expand further into our lands. As their numbers grow Muslims strengthen their community even more through a high birthrate and conversion. Reproduction and conversion are weapons two and three in Islam's "peaceful" invasion of the Realm.

As their population explodes Muslims are beginning to flex their muscles culturally and politically. In some European countries Muslims are demanding the right to use Sharia law to adjudicate disputes in their communities. Honor killings are taking place in Europe and, possibly, America. In Sweden and Australia Muslim men have raped White women and used Islamic values to justify it, saying the women were to blame because they weren't wearing hijab. Some cowed Western intellectuals and politicians are now opining that any criticism of Islam is racism. And the Muslim muscle flexing doesn't stop there.

Western Muslims are using our cherished freedoms against us. Our freedoms of religion and speech, for instance, are being exploited by many imams to preach violent, anti-Western sermons in their mosques. Muslims are using the right to protest to hold mass demonstrations to influence Western governments' policies. Democracy has allowed Muslims to elect their co-religionists to political office where they will use their power to further Islamize our society. Any attempt to oppose this Islamization process is denounced as "Islamophobia".

Many Westerners desperately hope that exercising political freedoms will instill in Muslims a commitment to liberal, secular democracy. They are wrong. Democracy, or the exploitation thereof, is the fourth weapon in the "peaceful" jihad. But democracy, reproduction and conversion are useless weapons if Muslims aren't in the West to implement them here. Which brings us back to immigration, the weapon that opens the door to all the others. Why do Muslims come here? Now you know.

In My Backyard?

On the evening of Tuesday, January 1--New Year's day--something horrible happened in my state of Texas. Two sisters, 18-year-old Amina and 17-year-old Sarah Said were found shot to death in a taxi cab. The suspected killer? Their father, Yaser Abdel Said. Any time a parent murders a child it's tragic, but what makes the murder of Amina and Sarah even more horrific is that it's probably an honor killing.

Yaser Said is an Egyptian immigrant and devout Muslim who was known to be upset with his daughters' Westernized lifestyle. He was particularly angered by the fact that the sisters both had non-Muslim boyfriends. In fact Sarah, the younger sister, told a friend that if her Dad found out about her boyfriend he'd kill her. The girls' mother was scared enough to flee with them to Kansas and then to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she rented an apartment under an assumed name, according to the sisters' great aunt Gail Gattrell. How and why Amina and Sarah ended up back in Texas is a mystery, at least for now.

The murder of the sisters hasn't been officially ruled an honor killing. Yaser Abdel Said is still at large so all the facts of the case are not yet known. In spite of his religious devoutness Said may just be one of those ultramacho, ultracontrolling, latently incestous, psycho dads and would've killed his daughters even if he'd been an atheist. The circumstantial evidence, though, screams honor killing.

It's shocking that an honor killing may have happened in my state, close to my city. Frankly, I always thought that we Texans were too "narrow-minded"--in a good way!--for a backward, Islamic custom to be practiced here. I always expected this sort of thing to happen in liberal, "enlightened", meccas of multiculturalism like California or Massachusetts. But now that it appears that the barbaric practice of honor killing has reared its ugly head in the Lone Star state I hope that my fellow Texans will join me in saying loudly and with firm resolve, "NOT IN OUR BACKYARD!!!!" We owe it to Amina and Sarah to make sure this diabolical crime NEVER happens again.

I can't believe I forgot about this, but I did. This year, 2007, marks the 70th anniversary of Stalin's Great Purges, which resulted in the deaths of millions of people. While this blog was created primarily to combat the Islamist threat to the West, Hammer Folk Woman is a forum of resistance to ALL enemies of Western Christian civilization. One of the most viscious, murderous, and insidious of those enemies is Communism.

The Godless, totalitarian scourge that is Communism first gained hold of a nation, Russia, in November* 1917, and the Soviet Union was born. After WWII the Soviets spread the disease into Eastern Europe, China, and other parts of the world. Communists murdered mercilessly everywhere they gained total power. The model for the killing was the Soviet Union, especially under Stalin. The Great Purges, also known as The Great Terror, was Stalin's masterpiece of totalitarian madness.

The Purges, or the Terror, didn't began in 1937 but reached a fever pitch in that year. It's purpose was to crush all opposition to Stalin's power and personality cult. Initially, only "traitorous" Communist Party members were targeted but the killing quickly spread to all walks of life. When it reached it's peak The Terror had consumed millions of lives and given birth to the world's most infamous prison system: the Gulag.

As horrifying as Stalin's Terror was most people today know little or nothing about it. It was a time in Hesperia's past when more people were slaughtered than in the Holocaust, yet it's all but hidden from history. The Hammer Folk will not let this crime against humanity be forgotten. We will remember it. We will remember the victims. Their blood cries out to us from their graves: Never again! Never again the Gulag! Never again The Terror! Never again. Never again. With every fiber of our being we will make it so.

*The Communists' seizure of power took place in October according to the old Julian calender then in use in Russia, that's why it's called the October Revolution.

Charles Martel Day

October is, or should be, a very important month for Hesperians. It is important to the Hammer Folk, who understand what happened on a special day in this month over 1000 years ago.

On October 10, 732 A.D. Charles Martel, the Hammer of the Franks, defeated the Muslim horde, led by Abd-ul Rahman, at the Battle of Tours, aka the Battle of Poitiers. You read that right. Muslims were invading Europe over 300 years BEFORE the First Crusade, which began in 1091. Charles Martel, grandfather of the great emperor Charlemagne, saved Western Christian civilization from Islamic subjugation. Every achievement of the West is ultimately attributable to Martel because his victory preserved Western culture from the retrograde influence of Muhamad's religion. Yet, to my knowledge, there isn't a city, a school, a park, or even a street named for this hero anywhere in the West except, maybe, for France. The Hammer Folk are going to change this dishonorable oversight.

From this year on all Hammer Folk will mark October 10 unofficially as Charles Martel Day. We will do this until October 10 is officially recognized for the historic day it is in ALL of the Realm. We Hammer Folk will mark October 10 as both a somber day of remembrance and reflection, where we examine ourselves to see how much we embody the fighting spirit of Martel, AND as a joyous day of celebrating the West's crucial victory over the Muslims.

As this will be the first Charles Martel Day there are no celebratory traditions for us to follow as there are for other holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. Instead, we get to create our own. To start off, I propose that all Hammer Folk wear red armbands on October 10. Wear the armbands to work, to school, to the store, even to church ( this year Charles Martel Day is on a Wednesday, when many churches have prayer meetings). The armbands should be red to symbolize both the shed blood of Christ and the shed blood of the Muslim invaders fighting to eliminate Christian Europe.

The armbands will inevitably attraction attention; that's what we want. The bands will be tools of "evangelization", opening the door for the Hammer Folk to educate our fellow Hesperians on Islam's historic aggression against the West. Doing that will get at least some of us in trouble. Wearing the armbands on some public school or university campuses will no doubt result in charges of racism from the pc police. When that happens, be strong; stand firm. Show the resolve, determination, and fighting spirit that Charles Martel Day is about to begin with. Just as The Hammer didn't back down in the face of a numerically superior foe so the Hammer Folk, his spiritual descendants, must not back down in the face of our numerically superior foe. For the multiculturalist, self-hating Western liberals do outnumber those of us who love our civilization. But our foes' numbers don't guarantee them victory, just the Muslims' numbers didn't prevail over Martel.

That's all I've come up with for this Charles Martel Day this year. My hope is for the armbands to become a yearly thing. Other Hammer Folk can create other activities that the larger Hammer Folk community can duplicate. Maybe those of us who have kids can take them out of school to celebrate. Or send them to school armed with the historical truth--and the armbands!

It's time we gave Charles Martel the honor he deserves. It's time we jettisoned multiculturalism and political correctness in favor of Western culture, OUR culture. Western Christian civilization is good. It's worth fighting for. It's worth dying for. That's the lesson Charles Martel has to teach us.

Learning From Our Enemies

The Hammer Folk are keenly aware of the threat posed to the West's survival by resurgent Islam. We distinguish ourselves by our refusal to accept politically correct "explanations" for Islamic terrorism, preferring instead to confront the hard, cold, truth that the jihadis want to destroy us because their religion tells them to. We know who the enemy is and what motivates him. We despise the enemy. We despise his religion. We want his complete and total destruction, and we're not afraid to say so. However, despite our disdain for the jihadis and their faith, we Hammer Folk aren't so arrogant as to think that we can't learn anything from them.

In Hesperia's life-and-death struggle with the Islamists we, the Hammer Folk, understand that the West must be willing to embrace any and all ideas, tactics, practices, or strategies that will aid our victory over jihad, even if they come from the enemy. We must not assume that because the jihadis are anti-Western savages they have nothing to offer us. In fact, they have one idea that could be of great benefit to us Westerners, if we'd only copy it. The idea used to characterize Hesperia but has been repudiated by her for at least a generation. The idea? Love your own culture.

That's right. Love your own culture. A simple concept that, sadly, too many Westeners run from in horror. We have been inundated with the crippling doctrine of multiculturalism, the belief that all cultures are equal and equally good. For Godless Hesperians multiculturalism is their religion. The belief is so strong that many of them feel they must appease, or even collude with, radical Islam to prove they aren't racist. The belief has turned them into self-hating pacifists. If all cultures are the same, then Western culture isn't special, isn't worth dying for. So their committment to multiculturalism drives many Westeners to willingly aid and abet the demise of their own civilization. The jihadis don't subscribe to this insanity.

Radical Muslims have a zealous devotion to their own culture, civilization, and faith. They unapologetically pass this devotion on to their children. The jihadis don't think twice about teaching their kids to love Islam and to believe that Islam is worth dying for. Seeing little children dressed as suicide bombers or waving machine guns around is disturbing to Westeners. However, the Hammer Folk realize that behind these images is the powerful force of cultural self-love. The jihadis believe their culture and their faith are good, even superior, and worth defending. The strength of that believe is reflected in their gun-toting children.

We in the West must recapture the pride we once had in our own civilization, culture, and faith. We must deprogram ourselves from the multiculturalism cult and once again celebrate the accomplishments of our forefathers and the gifts they gave to the world. We must understand that it's ok to celebrate our victories over our enemies. Children waving machine guns around shouldn't disturb us if those children are our own--Americans, Brits, Poles, French, Austrians, Israelis--singing of smashing the Muslims the way their ancestors did at the Battle of Tours, the Gates of Vienna, and the shores of Tripoli. Cultural self-love is the absolute prerequisite to cultural self-defense. The jihadis know this instinctively. Hesperians once did; it's vital that we know, and act on, it again. The Hammer Folk will lead the way.

I'm beginning a new feature on HFW that I'm calling The Great Speeches. Periodically I'll be posting a copy of one of the great speeches of the West. Considering the dangerous times once again facing our beloved Hesperia, most of the speeches will be "fightin' words", so to speak; words meant to reinvigorate the fighting spirit of Western Man.

I'll begin this new series with one of Sir Winston Churchill's most quoted speeches. He delivered it to the House of Commons on May 13, 1940, shortly after being appointed Prime Minister. When you read this speech you'll almost cry that we don't have today men of such resolve, moral clarity, belief in the worthiness of their civilization, and unapologetic commitment to victory. God give us such men again!!!

On February evening last I received His Majesty's Commission to form a new Administration. It was the evident wish and will of Parliament and the nation that this should be conceived on the broadest possible basis and that it should include all parties, both those who supported the late Government and also the parties of the Opposition. I have completed the most important part of this task. A War Cabinet has been formed of five Members representing, with the Opposition Liberals, the unity of the nation. The three party Leaders have agreed to serve, either in the War Cabinet or in high executive office. The three Fighting Services have been filled. It was necessary that this should be done in one single day, on account of the extreme urgency and rigour of events. A number of other key positions were filled yesterday, and I am submitting a further list to His Majesty tonight. I hope to complete the appointment of the principal Ministers during tomorrow. The appointments of the other Ministers usually takes a little longer, but I trust that when Parliament meets again this part of my task will be completed, and that the Administration will be complete in all respects.

I considered it in the public interest to suggest that the House should be summoned to meet today. Mr. Speaker agreed, and took the necessary steps, in accordance with the powers conferred upon him by the Resolution of the House. At the end of the proceedings today, the Adjournment of the House will be proposed until Tuesday, 21 May, with, of course, provision for earlier meeting if need be. The business to be considered during that week will be notified to Members at the earliest oppportunity. I now invite the House, by the Resolution which stands in my name, to record its approval of the steps taken and to declare its confidence in the new Government.

To form an Administration of this scale and complexity is a serious undertaking in itself, but it must be remembered that we are in the preliminary stage of one of the greatest battles in history, that we are in action at many points in Norway and in Holland, that we have to be prepared in the Mediterranean, that the air battle is continuous and that many preparations have to be made here at home. In this crisis I hope I may be pardoned if I do not address the House at any length today. I hope that any of my friends and colleagues, or former colleagues, who are affected by the political reconstruction, will make all the allowance for any lack of ceremony with which it has been necessary to act. I would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined the Government: 'I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat.'

We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. The Poison of Multiculturalism

In my previous post I briefly mentioned the doctrine of multicultualism and how it's emasculating the West. I'm not the only Westerner who sees this danger. Other of my fellow Hesperians also see the danger and sound the alarm far more skillfully than I can. I'd like to share one such warning with you. Below is an excerpt from Diana West's Townhall.com article "Burnt Offerings on the Altar of Multiculturalism". It is copied from the June issue of the Christian magazine SALT.

Only one faith on Earth may be more messiaic than Islam: multicultualism. Without it--without its fanatics who believe all civilizations are the same--the engine that projects Islam into the unprotected heart of Western civilization would stall and fail. It's as simple as that. To live among the believers--the multiculturalists--is to watch the assault, the jihad, take place un-repulsed by our suicidal societies. These societies are not doomed to submit; rather, they are eager to do so in the name of a masochistic brand of tolerance that, short of drastic measures, is surely terminal.

I'm not talking about our soldiers, policemen, rescue workers, and now, even train conductors, who bravely and steadfastly risk their lives for civilization abroad and at home. Instead, I'm thinking about who we are as a society at this somewhat advanced stage of war. It is a strange, tentative civilization we have become, with leaders who strut their promises of "no surrender" even as they flinch at indentifying the foe. Four years past 9/11, we continue to shadow-box "terror", even as we go on about "an ideology of hate". It's a script that smacks of sci-fi fantasy more than realpolitik....

In not discussing the roots of teror in Islam itself, in not learning about them, the multicultural clergy that shepherds our elites prevenst us from having to to anything about them. This is key, because any serious action--stopping immigration from jihad-sponsoring naitons, shutting down mosques that preach violence and expelling their imams, just for starters--means to renounce the multicultural creed. In the West, that's the greatest apostasy. And while the penalty is not death--as it is for leaving Islam under Islamic law--the existential crisis is to be avoided at all costs. Including extinction.

Pretty potent stuff. The Hammer Folk, the spiritual descendants of Muslim fighter and defender of Christendom Charles Martel, must take Ms. West's words to heart and rise to defend Hesperia by all means necessary. The only things that need to be extinct are multiculturalism and jihad. God willing, they soon will be.

Deport the Jihadis!

When I turned on my television today I was confronted with a fiery scene at Glasgow International Airport in Glasgow, Scotland. Two men in a van had tried to ram the gasoline-laden vehicle into one of the airport terminals. Thankfully, barriers prevented the would-be killers from reaching their target. This attempted attack comes on the heels of the attempted double car bombing of nightclubs in London a couple of days ago.

At last check, British authorities didn't know, or weren't saying, if the airport terrorists are connected with Al Quaeda or are freelance copycats. Of course, it really doesn't matter. Muslims want to attack the West and kill Westerners because their religion tells them to, not because Al Quaeda tells them to. The only question is: will Hesperia fight back?

Oh, we'll fight back in a limited fashion. The airport terrorists are already in custody and if convicted will no doubt get long prison sentences. Most people will think the matter has been dealt with and will move on to other things--until the next attack. Hesperia will not survive if it keeps on playing this passive, reactionary role. We Westerners have no moral obligation to wait to be attacked before we defend ourselves. Going on the offensive isn't just a moral imperative, it's strategically crucial for our victory over jihad. And it doesn't always have to mean attacking Muslim countries.

One very important way Westerners can be preemptive is by changing the way we view our own civilization. Our Realm is just that, OUR Realm. Outsiders live here at our discretion and can stay only if they commit themselves to Western culture and values. This runs contrary to the doctrine of multiculturalism, but when multicultualism requires that Western people disown their own heritage and renders them unwilling or unable to defend it, then multiculturalism has to go. Love for and pride in our own culture are nothing to be ashamed of.

Once we understand that living in the Realm is a privilege and not a right, we'll be able to take the steps necessary to protect our home. We must no longer wait for the enemy to attack; we must root out the enemy from among us. Infiltrating mosques and Muslim charities is job one. Mosques and charities shouldn't be targeted willy-nilly, but if there's good intelligence that a particular mosque or charity is spewing jihadism, then it should be spied on. Once it's determined which mosque or charity leaders are teaching radicalism, they should be deported. Period. No hearing. No trail. If they're preaching hatred of the West, they don't belong here, even if they were born here. This applies not only to ethnic Muslims but also to ethnic Westerners who've converted to Islam. If Cat Stevens, for instance, was discovered preaching hatred toward Hesperia, he should be kicked out. His belief in jihad would automatically disqualify him from living here. It's time to play hardball.

Liberals will scream that deporting people for what they believe violates their human rights and you know what? They're right. But during WWII American president and liberal god Franklin Delano Roosevelt interned thousands of Japanese, Germans, and Italians, many of them American citizens, in camps in order to protect his country from sabotage. Roosevelt understood that when the very survival of your country is at stake, civil liberties can be compromised. How much more true that is when an entire civilization is at stake.

No, I'm not saying that fighting the jihadis gives Western leaders the right to arrest, spy on, or otherwise abuse their citizens for trivial reasons. There has to be a reasonable suspicion that a mosque, charity, or an individual Muslim is teaching jihad before any infiltration or spying should occur. But once the spying produces evidence of anti-Western hatred or support for jihad among the targeted Muslims, deportation should result. If a homeowner discovered that an outsider he allowed into his home planned to kill his family he has a moral duty to kick that person out of his house even before he calls the police. Well, the Realm is our civilizational home and we have the same moral duty to eliminate any internal dangers to her and our lives.

Besides, the Muslims thus deported will be leaving a culture they hate, a culture they believe is decadent, Godless, and hopelessly hostile to Islam. You have to wonder why the jihadis among us don't just leave of their own accord. Perhaps it's because they take their task of conquering the West very seriously and know that it can't be done solely by bombing American and British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Immigration, the "peaceful" jihad, is a crucial tactic in the jihadis plan for victory. We can thwart it by removing the jihadis in our midst and not allowing any others to come in. That's what our survival demands; that's what the Hammer Folk will do.

Defining the Realm

I've thought a lot about how to mobilize Western people to the defense of their civilization. Right now, it's painfully clear that most Westerners don't care to defend themselves, their individual nations, or their civilization. I think that's partly due to the absense of an awarness of a common identity, the reality that we are, ultimately, one people. The jihadis who want to kill us see us that way. Yes, they will play us against each other and try to divide us, but they really view us as a sinlge enemy. One way to combat that tactic is to cultivate a new sense of civilizational patriotism among the individual Western people and nations.

The Muslims have something they call the 'umma. The 'umma is the entire Muslim population; it comprises ALL Muslims, no matter where they live. It is a supranational and multiracial community of believers. The jihadis are trying to revive commitment to the 'umma and make said commitment higher than patriotism or racial/tribal loyalty. We Westerners need to learn from our enemies and reconnect to our own "'umma", which I call our Realm.

Western civilization is the greatest civilization created by man. It truly is a glorious Realm. It gave mankind its greatest ideas and ideals. Equality, human rights, the rule of law, democracy, scientific progress, religious freedom and a host of other ideas have benefitted countless people in the West and around the world. Why we aren't estactically proud of this accomplishment is beyond me. Instead, we wallow in guilt and self-hatred leading to a frightening unwillingness and inability to defend our home intellectually or politically, let alone militarily. This must change.

Reconnecting to our Realm is a major step in the right direction. Love for the Realm isn't meant to replace patriotism for individual nations. The nations within the Realm each have rich cultures and histories that should certainly be respected, loved, and preserved. We just need to realize that our individual nations make up a whole that also deserves to be respected, loved, preserved--and protected.

The Realm can be called simply the Realm, or it can be called Hesperia, a name I derived from the Greek word for west. Both names sound good to me. Geographically, the Realm is made up of two parts, the Home Realm and the Settler Realm. The Home Realm (HR) is Europe, the home of Western civilization. And by "Europe" I mean every inch of the European continent, not just western Europe. All Europeans--Brits, Germans, Russians, Swedes, Spaniards, Greeks, you name it--are equally Hesperian.

The Settler Realm (SR) is the places where Europeans settled and planted Western cultures. It includes, of course, America, along with Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa, Argentina and possibly other countries. I say "possibly" because not all of the places where Europeans settled remain Western in culture or outlook. That's why I hesitate to include most Latin American countries in the SR. Argentina is pretty Western due to its mostly white population. Other Latin American countries, though, are so culturally mixed that it's hard to determine how Western they are. I will continue to investigate which countries should be included in the SR; I certainly don't want to leave any of my Hesperian brothers out!

The inhabitants of the two Realms I call the Home Folk (HF) and the Settler Folk (SF). They are the two members of the Realm Family or RF. The members of the RF don't always get along. Overcoming our differences will be a hard and ongoing task, but overcome them we must. Our enemies want all of us either converted, subjugated, or dead. We and our Realm will survive only if we're united and willing to fight. I hope this little "lesson" in who we are as Westerners will motivate my fellow Hesperians to love and fight for our Realm.

Why "Hammer Folk Woman"?

In case you were wondering, I will take a little time and explain the name of this, my newest blog.

Hammer

Hammer refers to Charles Martel, the Hammer of Gaul, who stopped the Muslim advance into Europe at the Battle of Tours (aka the Battle of Poitiers) in 732 AD. Yes, the Muslims were attacking the West more than 300 years BEFORE the first Crusade. Charles Martel saw the threat posed to his country, faith, and civilization by the Muslims of his time and responded with furious force, hence the moniker Martel, the Hammer. In this time of renewed Islamic imperialism all Westerners must become Hammers ready to fight to save our civilization, our nations, and our faith. We stopped the Muslims once, we can stop them again.

Folk

I've always liked the word "folk". I know for some it has negative conotations because the Nazis used it to describe the German nation, but the word itself is quite innocent. For me it carries the idea of a tribe bound by shared values, customs, goals and beliefs, not necessarily by race or geography. The Hammer Folk, then, are those in the West who embody the fighting spirit of Charles Martel by loving Western civilization and their individual nations, and vigorously defending them from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Woman

I wanted to emphasize that this blog is being written by a woman because I feel it's vitally important to oppose left-wing group think which insists that a person's beliefs--political, religious, cultural--are and should be determined by the group to which he/she belongs and not by independent, critical thinking. I know that there are leftists out there who think that, because I'm a woman, I have an obligation to hate the West and to feel perpetually oppressed by it. I'm supposed to feel a kindred spirit with other "oppressed peoples" and make excuses for the savage violence they commit. I'm supposed to believe that Islamic terrorism is the West's fault and can only be stopped by the West engaging in endless atonement for the sins of colonialism. Anything less is "racism". In short, I'm supposed to be Rosie O'Donnell, but I take great pleasure and pride in rejecting the treasonous role the left has scripted for me.

I'm a woman, a black woman, who loves the West and considers it to be my civilization, my home, and its people my people. I feel no kinship with the non-white, non-Western killers who slaughter my people like cattle. The only thing they will get from me is hate. I am a woman who will defend my civilization, my home, and my people any way I can. I am Hammer, I'm part of the Folk, and I'm a Woman. Hammer Folk Woman. Get it?
